In-Person Fire Awareness Training Courses
FTC offer comprehensive in-person Fire Awareness training courses that can give you the knowledge and confidence to have awareness of fire prevention and fire procedures within your workplace. The training course covers how to identify a potential fire risk such as an overloaded plug socket, the knowledge of how to report this and to prevent from happening again.
Who is the course suitable for & what will you learn?
Our course is suitable for all levels and recommended for all employees to give you a basic understanding of fire awareness:
- How a fire can spread incorporating compartment.
- How to contain or slow down a fire.
- The importance of closing all doors and ensuring the building is up-to-date with fire stopping.
- You will be shown films and case studies backing up the training along with Q&A sessions as the course progresses to confirm knowledge.
- Fire extinguishers will be covered on operations and limitations of this kit and classes of fire matched to correct extinguisher.
- This course will give your staff the knowledge and confidence around fire safety and emergency evacuation procedures to keep your staff & business safe.
Resources and Aftercare
Upon completion of our in-person fire warden training course all attendees will receive a link to a digital page containing all of the key information discussed during the training session. This page will be members only access and will contain the information on the following areas:
- Awareness of local fire procedures and sweep routes.
- Fire warden checks.
- Fire prevention checks.
- Fire warden sweep instructions.
- The types of fire extinguishers.
- The fire warden checklist for daily observations, weekly observations, monthly inspections, quarterly inspections, bi-annual inspections, annual inspections.
